I create site-specific installations and multimedia environments that inhabit existing spaces. These works temporarily attach themselves to architectural structures, entering them to shift perception from within. They do not simply occupy; they linger, interfere, and rearticulate spatial conditions. They function less as additions than as presences that move through and alongside what is already there.
A useful analogy for this approach is the figure of the parasitos. Once a sacred attendant in ancient Greek ritual and later a disruptive character in theatre, the parasitos appears without invitation and unsettles the course of events. Neither fully inside nor outside, it exists through dependency and disturbance. Its presence is ambivalent: extractive, yet generative, marking boundaries, exposing gaps, and initiating transformation.
I approach physical spaces and digital environments through this lens, informed by my background in stage design and theatre, I understand space as constructed, performative and inherently unstable. Drawing on virtuality, the emotional depth of video game nostalgia, and the psychological charge of constructed worlds, my installations probe the limits of materiality and embodiment. To remain parasitic is to resist fixation.
It requires movement, misalignment, and disturbance. My work inhabits thresholds, where attachment becomes transformation and where interference opens the possibility for change.
